Top All-American Watch Makers
This 4th of July, we?¡¥d like to make note of a few exceptional watch brands not only based in the USA, but who also produce things here. As we?¡¥ve mentioned before, America was once home to some of the greatest manufacturers in the world. Unfortunately, our golden age in the industry has long since passed, and very few brands remain truly American. Zenith El Primero 410 Limited Edition Calendar Chronograph Watch
Hot on the heels of the incredibly cool El Primero Lightweight, Zenith has launched another limited edition El Primero, dubbed the 410 LE. This isn't the first dive watch from the brand, and it won't be the last, but those hungry for a good looking "real watch" have a good option here.I recall the moment I saw the Extreme Diver for the first time in person.
Baselworld Best Watches: Top 11 For 2011
The end of Baselworld is like coming down off a really brutal high. The intense energy of the show is only matched by how busy you are. Nights are filled with long European style dinners that take forever, but go by quickly as the conversation is engaging. Watch lovers can be themselves - this is our week. And even though the show is that long, you can only manage to see a fraction of the exhibiting brands. New things come at you around each corner, and items you?¡¥ve only seen as computer renderings come to life. The best part is by far the people; the gossip, the laughs, and thankfully
