JS Watch Islandus 44MM Review
Growing up, I knew Iceland as the place whose name seemed to be juxtaposed with Greenland (as it was the warmer of the two) and the home of Bjork (whose music videos I did not then or now understand). I later learned that they also have attractive women, a rather dark history with Europe's financial crisis, and at least one really top notch video game maker. They also make watches. Iceland has one true watch maker and it is JS Watch Co based out of none other than the capital city of Reykjavik. So here is a review of their Islandus 44mm watch, which according to the brand is a timepiec
Cartier Astroregulateur Watch Flies In Space
2011 might be the "Astro" year for Cartier. Last year's Cartier Rotonde Astrotourbillon was such a hit that 2011 will have at least two new "Astro" watches. One will be the Calibre Astrotourbillon (with the Rotonde's existing movement), while this one is something totally different. So take my words for the significant value that they are worth, but if you are ever skeptical about a timepiece I endorse, then do yourself a favor and check it out for yourself. Having said that I want to share my experience with
Luminox Steel Colormark 3150 Watch
When most people think Luminox, they think of a design like this Steel Colormark 3150 watch. While Luminox is not the first brand that came up with this military diver style watch, they certainly helped propel it into the mainstream. In 1994, Luminox released the original Navy SEAL series 3000 watch that offered a great military watch with a Swiss quartz movement for a few hundred bucks. I remember seeing these sold at places such as The Sharper Image, as well as a host of other retailers. At 43mm wide, in black with tritium illumination, it was just a really cool guy's watch. While th
