Parmigiani: Watchmakers Of Yesterday, Today And Tomorrow
The Parmigiani Fleurier HeadquartersOne would imagine that spending six full days with a watch brand is long enough to become comfortably acquainted with them and ask pretty much everything you want to know. That is true a lot of the time, but on this occasion, even after five nights of little sleep, nearly two thousand photos and many in-depth conversations, I feel a need to return and learn more. Nevertheless, I walked away with a new-found knowledge of history, watch making tradition and haute horology after checking out the Swiss brand, Parmigiani Fleurier, a world we bring you in
Oakley Time Bomb II Watch Remembered
We felt as though it was time to cover an interesting model and brand not yet discussed on aBlogtoWatch. Mostly known as a sunglasses maker, Oakley also has a rather interesting line of high-end as well as affordable watches. They are also one of the first big-name US brands to enter the "not cheap crap" watch market. I believe it was about 1999 when the brand's now famous "Time Bomb" watch was released. The C1
My TW Steel Canteen TW 1 Watch Review On AskMen
The newest AskMen watch review by me is up. This time it is on an unusual suspect, a TW Steel watch - a maker whose claim to fame is being in the business of 'big watches' (literally). The TW 1 model is part of the "Canteen" collection. It was not until I was almost done with the review that I realized the reason for the name. It has to do with the protective diver's crown. Read and you'll see if you still don't get it. Being so used to what the crown is actually for, it took me a while to realize it. Goes to show that the people in marketing at TW Steel are either not big watch af
