Linde Werdelin must be working overtime in preparation for BaselWorld as they have announced a new edition of the Oktopus II, called the Moon. Three years ago, LW launched the Oktopus Moonphase and these new models build upon the same platform but will be limited to just 59 units. Why 59? Two different variations of the new Moon models and our lunar cycle takes a total of 29.5 days to complete. Breguet Marine Royale Alarm 5847 Watch
While pretty awesome to behold (especially in size) and pretty in design, the Breguet Marine Royale Ref. 5847 watch for 2010 is an ergonomic mistake. It looks cool on the wrist - making you feel like some sort of well-to-do space pirate captain, but the legibility and use of the watch are pretty whacked. I've never much bought into the whole Breguet Marine line. Is it supposed to be a true diver? Just dive style? Dive anything? BR-01 Passes the Phantom Torch to the BR-03 92 Watch
Bell & Ross was one of the original companies to offer an all-black watch. The BR-01 Phantom was offered as a limited edition of 500 pieces of the basic model and 500 of the chronograph. The Phantom attracted a lot of attention and both models sold out faster then any other color BRs offered by the manufacturer. The BR-03 Phantom picks up where its BR-01 big brother left off.
