Greubel Forsey Double Tourbillon Technique Black
If there is anything that this industry has done to me, it is to give me an incredibly skewed perception of wealth. I've lately realized that I have a very poor notion of "affordable" and "normal." When you notice that an entry level mechanical timepiece that you'd hesitantly give to your father hoping he wouldn't think it is too simple can cost $2,000, you probably know what I am talking about. In the scheme of buying products, $2,000 is expensive, and this version of the Greubel Forsey Double Tourbillon is so many more times that in price.Greubel Forsey produces many watches
Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 36 Chronograph Flyback Watch: Racing With El Primero
Tag Heuer and Zenith are both part of the LVMH group and, with that connection, comes certain benefits. The new Tag Heuer Calibre 36 Chronograph Flyback models offer a prestigious alternative to TAG Heuer's 1887 in-house chronographs by employing a Tag-modified Zenith El Primero chronograph movement. Five Things I Want To See From The Watch Industry In 2011
While people struggled to make lists of what their favorite pieces of 2010 were, I started thinking about the future. Sure, 2010 saw its share of really great pieces, but I think there is a lot we can look forward to. For me, I think 2010 did a great job at offering pretty good sub $10,000 watches. Good watches in the $2,000 - $4,000 range were certainly present, but I wanted to see much, much more of them. T
Watch Talk with David Pittsinger : Opera Singer - Broadway Star - Watch Collector
What drives my passion for watches is not only the representation of time - and the complications - and the intricate dials - but the faces of those who feel the same.Especially when you get them talking. No matter what they do for a living, or who they are day-to-day, their interest in watches shapes them and their professions in so many intrinsic, unifying ways.I'm always intrigued to speak to someone new about their fascination with watches - and what makes their love unique. Here's a profile of a man who is an aficionado of watches, an accomplished American Bass-Baritone opera-star, and a
Bell & Ross BR01 Tourbillon Airborne Watch
If you didn't get enough of the Bell & Ross BR01 Airborne you'll love the new Tourbillon Airborne. Check out some jewelry versions of it here. The skull in square shape adopts the BNB Concept made (from back when it was around) tourbillon movement used first in the Bell & Ross BR01 Tourbillon. The movement has a regulator style of telling the time, tourbillon, power reserve indicator and torque indicator. Check out the carbon fiber plates in the movement as seen on the back of the watch. Weird? Sure it is, but an interesting novelty from Bell & Ross, and limited to just 20
