Omega Wants Good Constellation Watch
Movements in the models of end higher are clearly Omega co-axial automatic gauges like the 8500/8501, 8520/8521, towards the caliber 2500. Quartz models have movement caliber Switzerland 1376 or 1523. Each size, the Constellation retains the iconic look of the angular case with side mounted "claws." I really think that "claws" are a terrible to discuss the aesthetic features on the case, but it is terminology Omega. One of the elements which is so connected to classical Constellation watches is the homogenous aspect bracelets. Using large links with no gaps, the watches have a very distinct look with the great and simple, although that tapered and complex in the bracelet of the construction. New for today and never a part of the original line are colourful rubber straps that emulate the looks. Tell Omega they would try pairing of diamonds covered watches in gold with a 1982 rubber strap and they would probably laugh you room. How times change.
Seiko Astron Solar GPS Watch Review
During my travels over the last year or so, I have seen the Seiko Astron watch pop up a lot. As many know it is the name Seiko has offered to their new "Solar GPS" collection and is borrowed from the first event quartz watch released by Seiko in 1969. The Astron is especially popular in advertisements at airports, where various models in the collection are promoted to just the type of people Seiko is looking to attract with this high-end quartz satellite-controlled timepiece. In 2012, aBlogtoWatch offered the first hands-on look at the new Seiko Astron Solar GPS watch here, and now we
Edmond Booster Watch Review
Last year we brought you a review of the quirky and unique Edmond Pole Guardian watch. A few extra gears on the dial made for a very special look that offered visual thrills and a great way of having an AM/PM indicator. Now we review something more simple and straight-forward, but also really well priced. This is the Edmond Booster watch. Let's just put it out there right now, Edmond doesn't craft watch names as well as they do designs. In addition to names like "Pole Guardian, Booster, and Cap Horn," the models in each of the collections share a lot of design elements so it is difficu
Dubey & Schaldenbrand Grand Dome Watch
Swiss watch brand Dubey & Schaldenbrand is back after a slight hiatus and some internal reorganization. Their US distribution is also brand new. The newly livened Dubey & Schalden-brand (get it?) features three new models including this pretty Grand Dome collection. Set in a tonneau style case, this is the result of a lot of internal work in-house.While some brands stress the production of their own movements, it is sort of the reverse at Dubey & Schaldenbrand right now. At Dubey, they make their own cases, dials and hands. While they produce some modules and decorate and
Christiaan Van Der Klaauw Planetarium Watch Available On James List
I was in Basel, Switzerland sitting in a van and I saw a man wearing what looked rather familiar. There on his wrist was a Christiaan Van Der Klaauw Planetarium. Of course, it makes total sense for the man to be strutting his stuff at Baselworld, but how rare is it for someone to have one of these? Pretty rare actually. The luxury watch done in an old world style displays the signature ultra complexity that Christian Van Der Klaauw is know for. I know of no other watch with a full planetarium on the dial. I talked to the man for a second to compliment him on the piece. You just don't s
