Co-the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean axial chronograph is no doubt one of the most competent
Co-the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean axial chronograph is no doubt one of the most competent of the world luxury sports watches. Receiving a rating of resistance of the great water in 600 metres, with a multitude of other technical characteristics deemed essential to a super-professional diving watch, it houses a movement chronograph sophisticated column-wheel that he has won the respect of the fans.
Tag Heuer Aquaracer 500M Automatic Chronograph Watch
We all knew it was coming. First there was the new Aquaracer (called the Aquaracer 500M because it didn't actually totally replace the more basic Aquaracer) and now there is the chronograph version. It looks pretty rad actually. Feeling very similar to a dive version of the new Carrera, this watch has a similar layout, but not the 1887 automatic chronograph. The Aquaracer 500M Automatic Chronograph has a Swiss ETA Valjoux 7750 that they refer to as the Calibre 16 movement. The layout of the chronograph on the dial does not really take away from legibility, and at the same time does not
Vacheron Constantin Metiers d?¡¥Art Tribute To Explorers 2008 Watches: Not Particularly Good Tributes To Great Explorers
While I really like the idea, I just don't think Vacheron Constantin succeeding in getting the point across with these watches. The Metiers d?¡¥Art Tribute To Great Explorers 2008 collection is meant to honor Marco Polo and Christopher Columbus with well crafted watches that have old-style maps on them. Solid gold cases frame sophisticated enamel art with gold accents throughout. The enamel style is called "grand feu" and is apparently very tricky to get done right. I have no doubt that the methods used to creates this artistic watches are world-class, and that the fit and finish is top-n
Xetum Tyndall PVD Black Watch
This month California-based watch maker Xetum will release a PVD black cased version of their Tyndall watch. You can even get one in time for Halloween. The Tyndall is their flagship watch and comes in a 40mm wide steel case. This Tyndall PVD model is black with a matte finish. It also has a PVD black coated rotor in the automatic Swiss ETA 2895 movement. That isn't anything hugely different compared to the current model, but it is a new color selection which does add a nice additional flavor to the Tyndall collection.Right now the Tyndall PVD will only be available on a black leather
Sarpaneva Korona K0 Ruler Of Water Watch
After some re-visioning and rebuilding, Finnish watch maker Sarpaneva has completed their dive watch that will be known as the Korona K0 "Ruler of Water." I saw the prototypes of the K0 a year earlier in 2011 and the final versions are nicer looking and more distinct. Those who recall the 2011 version will notice the lack of screws on the bezel, updated dial, and movement of the crown to the 4 o'clock position.Sarpaneva will release three versions of the Korona K0 to start. The cases will be all steel, with some DLC black/gray application options on the case and dial, and of course th
