This is not the first edition limited or special watches Aquatimer Cousteau name on it, that the last (and very cool I would add). The event that this model is used to recognize what wold is 100th anniversary of birth of Mr. Cousteau. Newer watch brand ELYSEE offers a range of styles and values with most of their products being under $1,000. My primary interest is in their Swiss mechanical watches which includes this ref. 71003N (71003) Classic Aviator Automatic. A. Lange & Sohne Richard Lange Tourbillon ?¡ãPour le Merite?¡À Watch
One of the best surprises at SIHH 2011 was how much I enjoyed the A. Lange & Sohne Richard Lange Tourbillon "Pour le Merite." The regulator style watch took influence from a pocket watch made in the Dresden area a while back. It had three overlapping subdials, with one for the hours,? minutes, and seconds. Lange took the concept and added to it some very complex mechanical features that make this not only a neat looking watch, but one with a very sophisticated inside.I wrote about the Richard Lange Tourbillon Pour le Merite watch here when it was first introduced. Devon Steampunk Tread 1 Watch
Destined for near future production, is the Devon Steampunk Tread 1 watch. According to Scott Devon, they wanted to play with steampunk ideas for the Tread 1 as a design study. The customer reaction was so good that production is being fast tracked. This of course is the steampunk styled version of the original Devon Tread 1 that I reviewed here.The final design might change a bit, but these renders will reflect how the final versions will look.
