DOXA SUB 300T-Graph Chronograph Watches
This is an evolved Doxa and one of the nicest reasonably priced chronograph dive watches we know of. The Doxa SUB 300T-Graph (SUB300 T-Graph) is inspired by vintage Doxa design cues and faithfully asserts the tool-watch nature of the famous diving timepiece maker. There are three versions of the SUB 300T-Graph and each is under $3,000 being part of a limited edition. Oh, and if you want one you can only get them online as far as we understand it.That's right, if what I hear is true, then Doxa was among the first historic watch makers to decide it was best for them to bypass retail sal
What Will The Apple iWatch Be Like?
Rumors regarding new Apple products have lately proved to be extremely accurate. Since the death of Steve Jobs, Apple hasn't quite kept the iron curtain pulled so tight. When mass speculation revolves around a new product or service, it is often a matter of "when" rather than "if" it will be released. Even before the square version of the iPod Nano came out, people were speculating that Apple was designing a wristwatch. They clearly had it in mind when making a few watch dials available on the Nano, which was later upped to about 18 different dial choices. While Apple hasn't officially
Louis Moinet Vernoscope With Jules Verne Instrument Watches
Steampunk fans rejoice. This artistic item of display is the new Louis Moinet Vernoscope. Meant to celebrate the popularity of the Louis Moinet Jules Verne Instrument watch collection. I think the watches were a bit of a surprise hit, but they are really cool. And by the way, I have an in-depth review of a Louis Moinet Jules Verne Instrument watch coming up soon. The Vernoscope was recently unveiled at the Maison d'Ailleurs (House of Elsewhere), a Swiss sci-fi museum. They have some interesting Jules Verne items there, and Louis Moinet has donated the first prototype Vernoscope to the
Seiko Power Design Project 2008 Results: Tokyo Looking Watches
Each year Seiko has a bit of a design competition in Japan called the Seiko Power Design Project. Utilizing a different theme each year, 2008 had 12 watches each named after a district or neighborhood in Tokyo. This is one of the very cool things that Seiko does, and I think that more watch companies should get involved in working with local artists to design watches that come from different points of view. The first Seiko Power Design Project was in 2002, and it has been occurring annually since. I am not sure exactly how the project is done, but the "winners" actually get their watch
