Breitling Montbrillant 01 Limited Released
With a look inspired by the 1940s and 1950s and featuring a circular rule for pilots, the Montbrillant chronograph was named after construction on the rue de Montbrillant, on the heights of La Chaux-de-Fonds, which housed workshops of Breitling from 1892 to 1979. It is in these places that the brand developed inventions and improvements that have been changing the face of the wrist Chronograph, including the first pushpiece independent (1915), the second independent pushpiece (1934) and the first to winding automatic chronograph (1969). "Instrument" is probably the best term to describe this nifty little device. It packs a lot of functionality, probably more than you'll ever use. The best way to describe it is a multifunction wristtop computer (term borrowed from Suunto) suitable for extreme conditions that can actually help you survive if you use it properly.
