Christophe Claret Soprano Watch
For my money,?Christophe Claret is the guy I would hire to run a movement design department of a watch company. In fact, for much of his career in watches, that was what he was doing. What I like about Christophe, and even more so respect, is that he "gets" what mechanical watchmaking really is in today's world. Some watchmakers present themselves as religious zealots - keeping the faith alive by preserving the honor and tradition of traditional watchmaking. Claret has advanced beyond that. Like a kid, he knows that mechanical watches are toys for the rich - of all ages. And there are
Hublot & The Future of Watches - Jean Claude Biver Interview Baselworld 2009
Hublot is a brand that I respect a great deal. Every brand loves to state that they are forward-thinking and revolutionary and innovative and care about society and make the best watches...But Hublot is a brand that is doing a tremendous job with all of the above. And it's this initiative that has set them apart from so many other brands. In the clip above, Revolution Magazine and TheTimeTv have captured Jean-Claude Biver (the other JCB), discussing the brand and how its positioning itself.Which ultimately reflects on the entire watchmaking community. And in true Biver fashion, it is bot
TX 800 Linear Chronograph Watch Review On Amazon
"The specific model outlined in this review is the T3C313 in a 47mm PVD titanium case with the white dial and the rubber strap. The 800 series is a definite step forward over the TX 730 whose feature list was so long that it couldn't readily show all the information on the dial. The case on the TX 800 is solid titanium, with both polished and matte finish on the lugs and side and a unidirectional matte bezel that is pleasantly stealth. The sapphire crystal is flat, flush with the bezel, and doesn't appear to have any scratch-able AR coatings."Click here to read the full review on Watc
